New Angling Trust and EA website

New Angling Trust and EA website

The Angling Trust, working in partnership with the Environment Agency, will soon be launching a new website that will include the geographic locations of thousands of angling clubs, syndicates, fisheries and tackle shops in the UK. Uniquely, the site will draw together information like river levels, weather, sun and moon rise/set and tide tables all in one easy to find place.

The website has been specially designed to work on all devices from phones to tablets and version 1 will be launched in a nationwide publicity campaign to rod licence holders and in the Angling Press. We are expecting the site to attract a huge number of anglers who want to find the best fishing club or syndicate near to their home or holiday destination.

As an Angling Trust member your club will receive a free enhanced listing on the map results generated when users of the site search for a club in their chosen area. The details for the club search result will be generated from the details that our member clubs have entered on their free “Find a Club” club listing when they have signed in to our website at

If you have not signed in to our website and updated your free Find a Club listing recently or have never made use of this benefit of club membership then please log in HERE before 10th October 2013. This will ensure that anybody searching on the new website or on our current Find a Club map sees the most up to date information about your club when the site is launched.  Please update your details any time in the future if contacts change, or you buy or sell new waters.

Your club’s free listing on Find a Club and on the new website will include a link to your club’s own website and more information about your club or syndicate, its facilities, fishing venues and how to join. Therefore we encourage you to make the most of this no-cost benefit of Angling Trust membership and to use it to attract more members or day ticket sales.

If you prefer not to be listed on Find a Club and on the new website then of course that’s fine, we respect your privacy and we will not list your club unless you provide us with this public information, or provided it to us in the past for listing on our existing Find a Club page.

If you have forgotten the password to sign to our website simply click on the “Click here to retrieve your password” button at and it will be sent immediately by e-mail to you as the primary contact for your club.
